The 10″ x 4.5″ Silver carbon block is designed to filter unwanted taste and color from your rainwater supply. Silver impregnation of the carbon media inhibits the growth of bacteria on the filter cartridge reducing unpleasant odour in the water.

This cartridge should be installed following a dirt filter cartridge to protect the carbon block from premature blockage of dirt particles.

 

Filter cartridges should be replaced every 12-months
