Neglected tanks can become polluted with leaves, pollen, slime and sludge from wet systems. The water becomes a broth and has a strong smell of ‘rotten egg gas’ or sulfur dioxide.
Rusty old tanks create unwanted taste to the water and should be replaced. Rusty holes in the roof can allow vermin to drown in the tank adding to the risk of dangerous bacteria levels.

Filtatank filtration systems are mounted to the wall with three bolts and plumbed down-stream of your pressure pump. The units will operate with gravity fed systems preferably with no less than 10psi of supplied pressure. Installation is quick and simple.
