Viqua UV systems use a custom connection plug with built-in earth leakage and safety features meaning the lamp cannot be activated when out of the chamber protecting the user’s eyes from harmful UV light.
The UV ballast power supply has a handy digital day countdown timer and buzzer to indicate when lamp replacement is required. The UV lamp is replaced on an annual basis to ensure the correct wavelength of light is being delivered. Replacement Lamps are available via our online store.
