Triple 20″ x 4.5″ Whole House Rainwater Filter Systems remove unwanted sediment through a 10-micron polyester pleated cartridge, 5-micron polyester spun and then a 5-micron silver impregnated carbon cartridge to remove colour, taste and odour. Silver is used to inhibit the growth of bacteria on the cartridge. Pressure gauges indicate water inlet and outlet pressure.
The unique ‘Free-Standing’ galvanised support frame supports clear filter housings and is fully plumbed with 25mm stainless steel pipework. Supplied with a polyethylene weather protection cover. All systems come fully assembled ready to go.

Unique clear filter housings allow quick and easy visual inspection of the filter cartridge condition at all times. Clear housings are only possible thanks to the polyethylene protection cover which keeps the filter system out of direct sunlight
Filtatank systems use the very best quality Italian made filter housings. Patented one-piece housing tops ensure leak-free connection between housings with extreme rigidity and structural strength across the whole filtration system.

The difference between the Filtatank Twin and Triple cartridge rainwater filtration system is the addition of a 5-micron poly spun filter cartridge (in stage two of the triple system). This cartridge is designed to capture finer particles following the 10-micron pleated first stage cartridge. This will protect the silver carbon cartridge which is only designed to absorb colour, taste and odour and doesn’t prefer a lot of dirt particles.
The twin system is ideal for the standard size family home with decent quality rainwater. If the water is quite dirty and brown in colour and there is a high demand on the filter system then we recommend installing the triple cartridge filter system.
Quick and easy installation of Filtatank systems is thanks to the unique ‘Free-Standing’ filter frame designed and made in Australia. Each system is ‘Plug and Play’, fully plumbed and ready to go. Systems can be installed next to rainwater tanks, out in a paddock or next to the house making Filtatank systems a brilliant option for all different applications. They can even be quickly and easily transported to different locations such as building or mining sites where on-site water filtration is required.
All that is required is a flat base prepared and plumbing connection to the 25mm inlet and outlet water ports.
Each system includes a lockable polyethylene weather protection cover which is tough and durable to protect the system from the harsh Australian climate.
